CURRENT LITTERS |
All Adopters will be Screened prior to adoption. Please email me if you are interested in adopting and I will be asking some questions to proceed further. If it is determined you will be able to adopt, we will then discuss adoption price. Once you do adopt, you will be required to sign an adoption contract agreeing to provide proper care and love to your new pet. All babies will be adopted with PET ONLY adoption contracts, unless an established breeder is approved to adopt on a Breeding Contract. By Signing the adoption contract you are also agreeing that if for any reason you can't keep the rat(s) you adopt from me you will agree to return them to me or to another approved home with my permission. In the case of a return of pets, there will not be a refund on adoption price unless you contact me within 15 days after adoption and arrange to return them at the earliest possible time (for example you find out you are allergic and cannot keep them). All babies are adopted out with a pedigree, the adoption contract, as well as a small starter bag of food mix. |
UPDATE: SDA OUTBREAK Timeless Tails is Currently under quarantine for at least 2-3 months. We had and outbreak of SDA (a rodent Virus) that took the lives of 12 of our beloved pets, and infected several others. To prevent the virus from spreading, we need to stay in a strict quarantine, and no rats can be bred or placed to homes with rats in them. We did have one litter born (bred before the outbreak) that will be in quarantine as well. They will be available to homes that do not have rats when they are 8 weeks old....and to homes with rats once the quarantine is over (6 or more weeks after they are weaned). The few babies/young rats we have from prior litters will only be available to homes with out rats once all symptoms are passed (or until quarantine is over). For more information on SDA please see the following links: I believe the virus was picked up visiting a local petshop, so please be careful if you have to go to a petshop be aware there may be active viruses "in the air" that you can carry home to your rats. It is best to avoid any shops/etc that have any rats/mice/guinea pigs/etc but if you must go to them wait OVER 3 hours before going home ot your rats. And for better measure, take a shower/change your clothes and blow your nose. Feel free to email me if you have questions on this virus or if you think your rat may have symptoms |
